Dr. Yashpal Singh is a renowned academician and researcher. He earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture &Technology, Pantnagar. Before joining AU as an Assistant Professor, Biotechnology, he was associated with Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, Pantnagar University and ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Bareilly. Dr. Singh is a prolific researcher in the area of Nano-Biotechnology and Microbial Biotechnology. He has been the recipient of prestigious DST Young Scientist fellowship from DST, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt of India. He has served as a Principal Investigator/Scientist in a DST funded project under Scheme of Young Scientists and Technologists at GBPUA&T, Pantnagar.
Dr. Singh has published over 17 research papers in SCIE, Scopus indexed journals of international repute with high impact factor and 03 patents on vaccine development for Typhoid fever and poultry salmonellosis. He has authored 02 books, several book chapters in international books published by Springer Nature, InTech Open, Elsevier and Taylor& Francis. He has been conferred with numerous awards at national and international conferences, including the Young Scientist Award at USSTC 2018 hosted by Uttarakhand State Council for Science &Technology, Govt of Uttarakhand and Best Ph.D Thesis Award in 2022.He has also served as peer reviewer for reputed Scopus-indexed international journals.
Dr. Yashpal Singh has published more than 17 research papers in journals of national and international repute. He has also published 2 books entitled “Pandemics: History, Causes and Impacts” and “Guidelines for Poultry farming” and many book chapters, popular articles and success stories in reputed magazines.
