Established in 1999 under the aegis of Modern Academy Educational Society, the Amrapali Group of Institutes, now Amrapali University, is a highly ranked academic institution in the State of Uttarakhand.

In 1999, Chairman Shri C.L. Dhingra and Vice Chairman (Late) Shri Ramesh Monga initiated a transformative mission aimed at reshaping the landscape of higher education in Haldwani, nestled in the foothills of Nainital. Their goal was to enhance the availability of professional education options for students especially hailing from the hilly regions of Uttarakhand. With remarkable energy and determination, they forged ahead, leading to the establishment of the Amrapali University turning their vision into reality.

Amrapali University offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate, post-graduate and doctorate programmes across various discipline , including Engineering, Computer Applications, Business Management, Commerce, Hospitality Management, Pharmacy, Bio-Technology and Education with a students body of over 3200 and around 200 distinguished faculty from top Universities, Amrapali University is committed to providing a dynamic and enriching educational experience.
