Gaurav Kumar is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Applications at Amrapali University, Haldwani. He has submitted his Ph.D. thesis in Computer Engineering & Applications at GLA University, Mathura, and holds an MCA degree from Thapar University, Patiala (Punjab). His teaching and research interests include C, C++, Python, Machine Learning, AIML, Meta Learning, Medical Image Processing, Data Science, Networking, Neuromorphic Computing and Quantum Computing. With over two years of academic and research experience, he is committed to quality teaching, mentorship, and fostering innovation among students. He has authored 2 book and more than 50+ research papers, including Scopus-indexed journal and international conference publications, and working on several other books & research projects. He also holds 4 Indian patents and 1 granted international patent. He has been invited as a guest speaker at various institutions and has guided several graduate and postgraduate projects. He serves as a reviewer for multiple reputable journals and Scopus-indexed conferences. Along with research and teaching, he remains actively engaged in academic leadership roles, organizing seminars, FDPs, workshops, and hackathons to enhance student and faculty development.
